Hi guys! Today, we asked one of the best bridal shops in Connecticut for some insight so we could get

a professional opinion in regard to wedding gowns during the coronavirus crisis. We are here for you to give you the answers, to reach out to all the necessary professionals and assist you in every way we can. So, here is the expert, Lauren, owner of Julie Allen Bridals, insight.
If you have already ordered your gown...
Even though COVID-19 is just starting to hit us in the United States, it has been going on in China since January, so any delivery dates that would be affected have likely already been affected.
The only thing that would cause a further delay in the United States is that many of the designers are shut down during this time and they will open again next month. This can cause delays with shipping. Please consult the bridal store you purchased your dress from to confirm its arrival. For Julie Allen Bridals, none of our deliveries are currently delayed later than a month!
If you're getting married in 2020...
The great news is, that you don’t have to settle on your dress! Our best designers have inventory ready to ship on popular styles that can arrive within a few weeks. If your wedding is set for fall or winter
2020 and you haven’t found your dress yet, schedule your bridal consultation as soon as the stores are able to start accepting customers again (estimated in the end of April.)
If you're getting married in 2021...
This is the best possible scenario because you still have plenty of time. We like to have about six to eight months for your dress to arrive in the store. So, even if your wedding isn’t until next spring, you
can shop over the summer and still have plenty of time to get the gown you love with customizations!
We hope this helps! If you are one of our clients or one of our followers, feel free to make a suggestion for our next blog post!
