Engaged couples in Quarantine- what can you do now for your wedding?

T I P S 🌿 One of our beloved clients asked us to make a post about things you can do right now. In case you missed it, here is what our latest advice for all of our engaged couples is: if you're getting married in the summertime, just put things on pause for the next two weeks.

We all need to take a deep breath and get lost in something and distracted by what's going on. We all need a mental break. I know it's hard and my heart goes out to all of you. But just don't order your invitations yet, go ahead and design them but just keep them in your cart. But with that said, continue to put your deposits down with your vendors! They need that money right now to stay afloat and you want to make sure you have them locke in for your big day!

Finalize your colors. In case you are all over the map like I was, looking on Pinterest every chance you can get and can't pinpoint exactly what you want because you're between a few different color schemes, pick one and stick to it! Make sure everything from your flowers to linens and bridesmaids dresses follows your color scheme for a cohesive look. Color schemes can be something you find on Pinterest or that you make up. Make a mood board with a photo of FOUR virtual swatches, pick a picture of a cake, a photo of a bouquet, a photo of your bridesmaids dress color and a picture of a table that inspires you. Make a collage out of it and boom, you have started an inspirational mood board for your wedding design. Now make sure you look back at it and follow it in each decision you make in the design of your day.

Make lists. What do you need to do? Work out your budget, take time to create that Excel spreadsheet

now. Figure out what else you have left to do. Did you consider favors? Make a list for your favors- how much will you need of each material?

What about your bathroom baskets? Make your list of what you want to buy for those and where you'll purchase everything.

What about your hotel bags? Make your lists for these.

Take advantage of this time to get organized and check things off your list that you were putting off!
