Styled Wedding Shoots

If you know me at all, you know that styled shoots are my company's jam and so is design. So many people ask me why I do styled shoots and what I get out of it, so I figured I would write a post about it.

I live to design and get creative. You know that high that people talk about that they get from drugs? Well, I enjoy designing so much that I do this literally because of the high. It brings me such joy to try to expand my abilities and create new things. With that said, my goal is to inspire our clients for their own weddings and events!

To network! When I first came into the industry, I was such an introvert for the first few years, dodging every networking opportunity because anxiety takes over in those types of settings for me.

I finally

found my perfect way to network and styled shoots are it! Meeting new creatives, watching them learn and be able to truly see them in their element doing what they love is an amazing experience. Working with all of these industry professionals gives me the experience to comfortably refer them to our clients as well. As well as finding the absolute best vendors to refer my clients to, I have also experienced some that don't mesh well with our company so it also worked well in that way.

Experience! Styled Shoots are more difficult to plan than weddings in some ways. We have faced so many challenges such as people backing out at the last minute, things not going as planned and it has genuinely improved my role as a planner so I can be ready for these hiccups on wedding days for our clients. As well as that, this is unfortunate but true, I have learned to deal with difficult people and improved on how to deal with them.

I could truly go on and on, but this is the gist of why I personally love styled shoots!
